Haven is full-service business management company focused on providing all financial and business services for today’s athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs and talented, busy people of all walks of life. History has shown athletes, entertainers and other celebrities in particular have encountered significant challenges in their attempts to successful manage their financial affairs.

 

The Haven consists of dedicated, committed caring thought leaders with 100 years of combined experience, working for and working with extraordinarily talented individuals. All dedicated to helping our clients be the best they can be.

 

Inside the Haven we help educate our clients and those closest to them, to show them how to launch, manage and maintain their respective businesses. Haven’s hands-on approach is not driven by transactions. Instead it is relationship based, intent on achieving sustainable endeavors, to help clients be permanently successful in business and in life.

HORACE MADISON

Madison has almost 30 years of experience in the financial industry. 

 

Initially as a Financial Planner/Advisor, for IDS/American Express.  Then as a stockbroker at Bear Stearns.  Eventually leading to him opening his own Business Management firm, where his business partner and he worked with clients including OutKast, Usher, Ma$e, DMX, Eve, Swizz Beatz, Nelly, Malcolm Lee and others. Madison spun off his own firm where he  had clients including Lil Wayne, Young Money, Lil Jon, Dame Dash, Bobby Shmurda,Meek Mill, plus sports clients Arian Foster, Glen “Big Baby” Davis and others.

 

The Haven was launched to focus on helping artists, athletes, entertainers and entrepreneurs build, grow and manage businesses beyond their “day jobs,” for sustainable 2nd careers, passive income and or the accumulation and ultimately transferral of wealth.

MARCELA POVEDA

Marcela Poveda is a professional with a career spanning across politics, entertainment, education and community advocacy.

 

As a Public Policy/Housing Fellowship at the National Puerto Rican Coalition in Washington D.C. She monitored federal legislation and influenced the legislative process for underserved Latino communities.

 

Poveda later worked for the Haven Group’s sister company Madison Strategic Integration (MSI) where she helped to manage accounts and philanthropic partnerships. 

 

Community advocacy then led her to work as a Project Manager at the School District of Philadelphia, where she was responsible for overseeing special projects, developing communication plans, and executing outreach efforts targeted towards Spanish-speaking and multilingual communities.

 

She currently works as an independent contractor and leads volunteer and facilitation efforts for The Haven Group’s philanthropic division - The Haven Wealth and Resource Lab.
